Stephen brings over 22 years of executive leadership experience with Fortune 50 companies and diverse business background in accounting, operations, merchandising, loss prevention, and human resources. Stephen was involved in the initial launch of Singularity University in Canada and was a member of the first cohort. Stephen attended Memorial University and completed ongoing professional development courses, including Advanced Business Training through Harvard University, a Master’s in Business Administration Finance through the Australian Institute of Business, and the Global Leadership Institute.

Stephen spent most of his career with Walmart Canada, where he oversaw the Pharmacy and Optical retail operations for Walmart Western Canada for ten years. In recent years, Stephen became the CEO of Canada’s largest & only national recreational vehicle company. Through his education, ongoing development, and professional experience, Stephen has become a business strategist and trusted advisor for the companies he works for.

Stephen lives by a straightforward statement both in his professional and personal life, ‘Perfection is not attainable, but if we chase perfection, we can catch excellence.” This belief he communicates with his three children to chase perfection in all they do, with the ability to become excellent. Through this guiding principle, Stephen has become known for his ability to recruit, retain, and develop exceptional talent. In addition, Stephen has become a champion and leader for Diversity, Inclusion, and Equality in the workplace.

Outside of the office, Stephen loves spending time with his three children. His family is active in various sports, and Stephen is involved in coaching. Stephen firmly believes in community and involvement, a principle he has instilled in his three children to even volunteer their time in their communities at a young age. Stephen has spent almost a decade volunteering his time on local boards within his communities, especially involving youth sports. In addition, Stephen is a proud supporter of Breakfast Clubs of Canada, helping children reach their full potential one breakfast at a time.
